Welcome to the Burslem History Club

The Burslem History Club meets every second Wednesday in the month in the Arnold Bennett Suite at the Leopard Hotel, Market Place, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffs.

The doors open at 7pm, the talks start at 8pm.

Admission is £1.50 for members & £2.50 for non-members.

Children from the age of 10 are welcome when accompanied by an adult.

Burslem History Club’s activities for 2017-18 are partly funded by the Community Foundation for Staffordshire.

Leopard Hotel
On the 8th March 1765, Josiah Wedgwood & James Brindley met at the Leopard Hotel to discuss the construction of the Trent & Mersey Canal.
